Its Valentine's Day,2008, Once Again!

If I be single, I can say
To my dear sweetheart, ‘I love you! ’
If I be married, I must say,
Dear spouse, ‘You are my Valentine! ’

’Tis Valentine’s Day, once again-
A day of romance and of love;
Let pour forth love from hearts like rain,
Expressing words, endearing now.

If all alone, just call your friend,
And spend the day in cheerful talk;
Write out a verse of love and send;
With him or her, go for a walk!

A lovely day to express love
To anyone, who’s near your heart-
When princes to princesses bow,
And say, ‘I love you! ’ with great art.

A day on earth when love prevails,
No matter what may come against;
A special day, the whole world hails,
And lovers met to love and danced.

Adorned are shops with reddish hearts;
Chocolate pastries afill their shelves;
Exchange of bouquets happen fast,
While Cupid’s arrows fly aghast!

Enjoy this day with wishes, smiles;
Enquire especial loved ones;
Enthrall your friends and well-wishers;
Enthuse the hearts that love you tons.

Oh, fill the world with pleasantness,
And spend the day with pleasantries;
Oh, pass the time in full romance,
And take your spouse/ sweetheart for a dance.

A day of charm, togetherness,
When love wins over emotions;
‘I love you! ’ are the magic words
That fill all hearts with happiness!

’Tis Valentine’s Day, once again;
Let love and romance fill the air;
It is a boon and not a bane;
Let’s show the world, we love and care!

Dedicated fondly to my beloved wife,
Mercy Celestine, Podanur
